No Matter What is a short film about a woman (Vera) as she and her partner learn to accept her for who she is without the need for her psychiatric treatment.

 

The aim for the score was to centre around Vera's psyche to try and replicate how she felt through the music. To achieve this, the music was composed with a relatively small sound palette comprising mainly of strings, synth pads, piano and my (incredibly rusty) voice. This kept the score sounding very intimate and personal, to try and connect Vera to the music as well as possible.
